Welcome to our website! We're a family of four, who traveled around the world for almost a year (August of 2007 through June of 2008). Why gives you the background on what led us to this adventure. We used this website to update people on our whereabouts, and you can use it now to find out where we went, what the place was like (at least for us), and what our highlights were. There are links here to photos of all the places we went, and at least one blog post per location. And if you have any questions, or we can help you plan your own trip in any way, feel free to send us an e-mail!

You can follow our adventures through our blogs at:
Our Itinerary covers the trip's destinations, as well as links to our blogs and photo albums for each place we've been. So if you to check out our perspectives on a place, say Sydney, go to our itinerary and, under Sydney, link directly to our blogs and photo galleries for that place. We are also keeping a running set of lists, including our List of Trip Favorites.
And what else are we up to? Well, in addition to exploring the world, we're doing all we can to help Barack Obama become our next President. To see why, go to why we support Barack. And help me raise money for this great candidate by donating on-line at my Barack fund-raising page.
Please send us your personal updates, or any suggestions for people we should meet along our journey. It's a real highlight of our day to hear from you. Also, if you are aware of any relevant initiatives (non-profit, research, interesting companies) where we're traveling, we'd love to hear about them. You can contact us at ted@dintersmith.org or our normal e-mail addresses.
All the best!
Ted, Elizabeth, Gibson and Sterling
